Praman

तिथि का धयान आवे, कभि सतिथि का धयान आवे
धरम की बात करे़, तो अतिथि का धयान आवे

Pramāṇa-samuccaya is Budhist logic.
("A Compendium of Validities") is a work by Dignāga, the early medieval Indian Buddhist logician and epistemologist, which may be seen as the definitive statement of his epistemological work. The work comprises an outline in the highly elliptical verse format typical of early Indian philosophical texts and an explanatory auto-commentary.

God is love; love is blind; Ray Charles is blind; thus, Ray Charles is God.

Whos Ray Charles? I dont know. But, I know 'Prosleptic syllogism'.

A prosleptic syllogism is a class of syllogisms that use a prosleptic proposition as one of the premises. The term originated with Theophrastus of Eresus, although Aristotle did briefly mention such syllogisms by a different name in his Prior Analytics.

Prosleptic syllogisms are classified in three figures, or potential arrangements of the terms according to the figure of the prosleptic proposition used. First figure: “A is universally predicated of everything that is universally predicated of G” Second figure: “Everything predicated universally of A is predicated universally of G” Third figure: “A is universally predicated of everything of which G is universally predicated”
Consequently, a third figure prosleptic syllogism would read “A is universally affirmed of everything of which G is universally affirmed; G is universally affirmed of A; therefore, A is universally affirmed of B.”
e.g. God is love; love is blind; Ray Charles is blind; thus, Ray Charles is God.

On the Trading Floor - Dancing with Traders

How romantic! How fiction like.

In a hallroom of 400 people, TV playing news softly, flashing numerous soft news over the big wide screens, while we crunch up numbers on our instruments and tiptoe our fingers on key boards, here is a drama scene playing a symphony between Front and middle and back offices.
Worlds watching us. Operations team ready to play another tune, and get the delicious crude in my plate. Yeah, we are trading crude!
Trader is fuguring out a deal, while accoutant hovers over her with a face which says, dont do wht u did last time, i am not going to back u again. Scheduler is still looking at ancient black screens, which reads ZM00 XPT 1234 879 1,000. He knows he cant deliver so much crude, at such a short notice. His pipeline would go empty and start suctioning neighbors crude. He isnt worried about neightbours, but the big boss, who's going to do his PF, its march end. Not a good time.
Accountant, if he had his way, wouldnt push this deal, month end close, come on who is going to figure out 1500 journal entries in 2 days."Take away my pain"....... Undo this deal, Say no to trade again, Undo this schedule..........................."

Risk man is still playing folk music on his tiny instrument. She knows, what, needs to be known, But, just doesnt have sufficient data. Ask her and she will tell you. But, show, and then, she will be back next week. Risk systems aint good enough, tell the folks....

"Shes always a risk man to me, She never gives out, And she never gives in, She just changes her mind, She's nobody's fool, And she can't be convicted, She's earned her degree, She's always a risk man to me".

Hold on, the deal is in. 99% confident..... I smell profit.
Hey, soft news on soft screen - "Markets are going down, be it Sunday or Monday", "Traders got a bad day, Traders got a bad day", Hedging gave us a leeway, Someone laughing on bank way, Someone laughing on bank way, Traders got a great day..."

So, my dear, drama of life goes on, scene by scene, page by page, while I make sure, everyone got a music to sing on, a floor to dance on.... and a life to live on....
"Gimme Gimme Gimme, Gimme my numbers, so that I can make decisions, predict outcomes and then, bet my judgements..."

Music isnt soft anywhere. Its a make believe world. But, I love it...
