Stasis

Learned about equillibrum in school. In chemistry, physics, biology, economics, everywhere.

But, couldnt relate this to the world around, then. But, here, some parallels, which flashed onto my memory:

Stasis, theoretically means any of these things:
  • A state of stability, in which all forces are equal and opposing, therefore they cancel out each other.
  • Stasis (political history), as defined by Thucydides as a set of symptoms indicating an internal disturbance in both individuals and states
  • Stasis (biology), a period of little or no evolutionary change in a species in the punctuated equilibrium model of evolutionary biology
  • Stasis (fiction) implies, especially in science-fiction, an artificial pause that stops all physical and chemical processes, including those of life; they resume as if uninterrupted as soon as the stasis is ended.
  • Stasis (medicine), a state in which the normal flow of a body liquid stops, for example the flow of blood through vessels or of intestinal contents through the digestive tract
  • Stasis (music), is a technique or form used in minimalist music, and also any other style that may use slow musical development
  • Stasis (argumentation theory), represents a "stand" or a "mode of proceeding" in a given argument.

It means a stability to some and disturbance to others. However, hard I may find, stability had been at the core of things, catching a ball, work-life balance, walking, crawling. Balancing act, so often i heard, it seemed miniscule to even think about it.

I like the fiction definition of Stasis. Its as if things stopped somewhere midway and resumed later in future, just as they were in the past.

The events which backlog, like a bush, growing at wrong places, continues to grow till you have to take a stand and eliminate it from the root.

Stasis seems such a beautiful concept, to be in limbo for a while, till things automatically clear up.

Rest assured, as simple as it seems, its one of the hardest things to achieve. Why, because there are few controlling forces, they just cant sit still, they dont know about keeping quiet.

So, something out of the world needs to put a plug in those mouths spitting fire.

Bush asked Obama, what can I do to help you. Obama hurriedly said, just dont do anything, thats the greatest help.

Just dont influence anything u dont know. Just dont add to mess and chaos. Live and let live. Is it hard. Yes, it is, it is for those powers, who want ruins in their countries.

Oh power, need a Stasis (music) lesson, coz Stasis (medicine) has caused a Stasis (biology), so feel a Stasis (political) around. Hence, send me a short term Stasis (fiction) and long term Stability.
